"Time Flies"

Over  many years I have pursued in my own fashion and through the wisdom of enlightened  ones, who generously  shared their  understandings and awareness  with anyone who cared to give attention to them , the journey of full understanding .

All journeys start with the limited awareness inherent within the first steps of awakening. The journey is a step into the unknown. Generally that awareness comes in the form of pain and suffering misunderstood. Pain being the paradoxical motivation to escape itself. Suffering being the lack of awareness of the nature of that same  suffering .  The journey is a step into the unknown, the home of awareness.

All pain is caused by a lack of awareness it has been said and so pain and suffering became the inner teachers to one day make themselves redundant in the process of awakening. Why we choose pain and suffering  as a learning tool is evident in their  motivational power. 

As long as we insist on cultivating a material consciousness (our bodies and minds are expressions of  that same consciousness) then pain is but an inevitable quality of that manifest consciousness.

The pain of birth , growing pains, the pain of powerlessness, old age and a decreasing life force are but expressions of a physical dependency.

We live in limitation, mostly unaware of our true nature and are motivated  in principal by the need to protect and preserve a vulnerable  physical form. Some unfortunately are  born with physical disabilities, some with  healthy bodies but troubled minds or indeed a combination of all conditions . If we honestly examine the nature of thought, to me it seems that we are endlessly, cultivating in an unconscious way a dialogue with death in the hope of avoiding that final guaranteed experience 

The one common factor on the plane of consciousness is that all things come to an end.

We are polarised in our life experiences between the fear of poverty and the same fear greed . Both poverty and greed  to me are expressions of the same essence i.e. a fear of extinction. No matter how much we deny it, all subsequent conditions , thoughts, etc. are a function of our survivalist primal instinct. So fear is a common denominator in the field of material consciousness. We all share in it, we abuse and control through it. Whether we are on the receiving end or  the controllig influences, we are all an expression of the same fearful essence . Sadly the bully and the victim are one and the same . There cannot be one without the other.The victim is the bully and as long as we play the role of victim we bully ourselves.

History is written revolving around greed, poverty and the subsequent conflict.

Unless we accept any understanding of death and it's wisdom then little progress can be achieved by us. Thus history in the preservation of our self-defending conflicted  ignorance repeats itself .

Suffering and pain therefore endure and that is the most we can become unless we source the path within and take the first steps to awareness.
